The Decimus Burton Archives

An important goal of the Society has always been to establish a comprehensive archive of the life and written works of Decimus Burton, and related subjects. We have also acknowledged the fact that although much of his original material has been either lost or scattered, there still exists some important collections in the country that contain some of his works. It is our intention to work with these collections and present an archive, with links to existing material, that can offer the student and researcher of Burton the most comprehensive resource of drawings, written, physical objects, and audio visual presentations on the subject.

The society is currently working on collating a number of collections of drawings, photographs and images from individuals and organisations. We welcome donations of material relating to Decimus Burton.
