To assist us in achieving our aim of promoting the life and works of Decimus Burton to a wider audience, the Society has embarked on a number of ambitious projects, some of which are ongoing, others not. We are, for example, currently pursuing the opportunity to create a Decimus Burton Museum within two of his own buildings. We are starting to build a collection of material and facts that will form the basis of a comprehensive archive on the architect, with links to other existing collections and related matter, as well as a guidebook for those interested in visiting his works. We are also planning for competitions and awards. 

 

We hope that together, these projects will provide a wonderful resource for those researching Burton and his work, as well as for those just interested in having some enjoyable days out visiting sites, or being entertained at home.
